A set containing ten pairs of double-cap rivets for use in textile and sewing projects. Rivets are traditionally used to strengthen areas of high wear on pieces of clothing or handbags, but can also be used as decorative elements in any sewing project.

Double-cap rivets consist of two pieces: a cap with a post and a second connecting cap. When force is applied to a double-cap rivet, the end of the post smashes and expands into the cap, creating a strong hold. You can set these rivets by simply striking the cap directly with a metal hammer on top of a hard surface

These rivets are the larger size of the two sets we carry, measuring 10mm in diameter.
