Gold Leaf Sizing Glue | Made in Japan | 125ml | GLSG

A Japanese-made glue specifically for gold leaf application. Comes in a 125ml tube.

Preparing:

1. Clean the surface and make sure it is free of dust, moisture, oil and wax. (Optional Advanced Step: If the surface has small holes or it is untreated wooden or plastic material, apply a layer of lacquer first. Wait for the lacquer to dry, and then sand the surface with a fine-grit emery paper. 
2. Thin the glue with a thinning medium, 1 part of glue and 5 parts of thinning medium. Let the mixture dissolve for 15-30 minutes for the best result. 

*Thinning medium: gasoline (best) or banana oil

*Washing medium: banana oil, benzene solutes or alcohols solutes. 

*good to use for indoor/outdoor, on wooden, marble, metal and resin surfaces. 

Application:

Brush on or spray. 

(Optional) After sizing, apply fixture or professional gold leaf protection solution to protect the surface. 

*Sizing can be done within 1-3 hours after glue application. (time frame may vary by location and environment)
