Crucible Handle | with 2 Crucibles | CAS-236.00

Eurotool selected this crucible handle because it provides safety and assurance for the user. The shaft is steel, mounted into a hardwood handle secured by a steel pin so that after years of use around heat, there is no possibility that the handle will slip off. A heavier shaft assures a firm hold when transferring liquid metals. 19-1/4" long supplied with two crucibles (3", 7.5 ounce capacity). Complete set packaged in individual box.

Use this clay/silica crucible for torch-melt hand-pouring into ingot molds, tufa or cuttlefish bone, and for sand casting. Includes a handle for safer, easier pouring. Crucible is suitable for temperatures up to 2,500°F (1,370°C).
