Description

This dead-soft 20-gauge fine silver sheet offers the benefit of having fabrication metal ready when you need it; custom-cut it to the exact size and shape your design requires. Fine silver sheet is ideal for cutting out shapes and forming components, bracelets, pendants and more. It is suitable for use with silver metal clay, enamel and granulation techniques. Dead soft fine silver sheet is easy to bend, shape and hammer; it is an ideal starting point for forming, shaping and wire-wrapping. Keep in mind that hardness is changeable (by annealing or heat-hardening) and is relative among metal types (each temper will feel and handle differently from one metal to another). When finishing your pieces, also keep in mind that the harder the metal is, the brighter a finish it will take.

All fine silver sheet is 6" x 36" and can be cut to the size you need; one dimension must be 6". Due to the cutting capabilities of the shear, minimum purchase is 6" x 1/4".

Fine silver, .999% pure, does not tarnish and is an ideal foundation for enameling as well as for texturing the metal with reticulation techniques. Pure silver offers a bright white color and is best suited for jewelry pieces not exposed to daily wear and tear.
