How to use keraflex?
Fabricating
Cut with a exact knife.
-Dry forming: Give you a stronger curve, but less bend angle than wet forming. Use keraflex slurry for conneting between parts.
-Wet forming: More space for bending compare to dry forming. Apply a quick water spray, then absorb the water with a piece of paper towel quickly. Over wetness can cause bubbling on surface. Connecting with keraflex slurry.
Firing
Directly to cone ten: 1280°C/2335°F. Very fragile to handle with underfired material, so avoid bisque fireing.
Shrinkage
approximately 15% after firing.
