This medium silver paste solder is ideal for soldering small and delicate joins that are at risk of melting with repeated or prolonged exposure to heat. The paste combines solder (55%) with a flux/binder (45%), ensuring that you don’t under- or overflux and eliminates the need to heat the join twice. This paste solder is 70% silver and reaches melting temperature quickly, which also reduces the risk of heat damage. The extra-fine applicator tip that’s included lets you apply just as much solder as the job needs in precisely the right position. Paste solder is ideal for saving time on the fluxing step in small jobs; it is ideal for the repetitive tasks of production soldering, such as closing jump rings, attaching ear posts and similar tasks.
